Introduction: British Columbia has the highest volume of flatland skimboarders in the world and it is time that B.C. hosted an international showcase of flatland skimboarding. The wheels have been set in motion for what promises to be one of the best and biggest flatland skimboarding contests in 2009: The Canadian Open. A two-day event taking place in White Rock, B.C. on the 25th and 26th of July with equal billing for all sponsors involved, cash prizes and a contest purse that will be hard to resist for any inland/flatland skimboarder.
