Sponsoring the Event: cost 350 Canadian dollars Anyone who has put on a flatland event realizes that not only does it take a ton of effort but can end up costing a hefty price. This is why our event is so attractive, by creating an atmosphere of cooperation between sponsors (equal billing) we in turn have an international event, which will give your brand more exposure in the flatland marketplace and it will cut down on individual company costs and efforts. To sweeten the pot further, British Columbia has one of the largest flatland communities in the world, and has never held an international contest. This event has all the inklings of becoming an annual event and your company has the power to make this a reality. Below we have listed off all that your company will receive by sponsoring.
Pre Event: Tydlemag.com, will be hosting a full event website, which will include information for riders, List of the event sponsors with links to their websites along with an event outline and registration.Tydlemag.com, will also run a feature article on the event in issue 3, loosely planned to release shortly after the competition. Sponsors of the event are encouraged to post links, post on their blog, etc. Since the event itself will have no headlining company, and all billing will be equal, I would expect that all sponsors would be motivated to promote the event as much a possible. Flyers and posters will include all sponsors, and will be distributed throughout the Lower Mainland (skate shops, clothing stores, etc) along with on the Internet including websites, forums, Blogs. We will be releasing a newspaper advert into the Local newspaper before the event, which would include sponsors of the event.
Event: You will be designated a spot to the set up a 10x10 tent for both days, in which you can showcase whatever products, signage and media you would like. Each participant will receive a contest t-shirt with all sponsors listed on the back upon payment. The DJ or MC will announce sponsors throughout the day.
Post Event: A short video will be produced of the two-day event, and will display all sponsors.
